Quality Switch, Inc. is a manufacturer of a wide variety of tap changers and electrical switches used primarily in transformers and load centers but can be applied wherever power is controlled. We can provide switches for use in air, oil, silicone, R-Temp, or any other high fire point hydrocarbon fluid. All devices are, in general, non-loadbreak devices designed for de-energized operation. Switch styles can include shoe types, ring types, or blade types.
In addition, we manufacture many ancillary pieces for use in electrical equipment. We specialize in copper, aluminum, brass, bronze, stainless steel, and dielectric material machining and manufacturing.
Quality Switch, Inc. also offers custom designs for our customers. We will work with our customers to provide solutions for their unique needs and applications. Our in house engineering capabilities include:

Independent or in-house testing backs most of our designs. Tests include short circuit tests, Impulse tests, and various other tests on basic switch designs. Periodically we retest designs and materials to verify conformance with the original tests.
Quality Switch, Inc. realizes that engineering a product is only worthwhile if the product is built properly. To this end, a rigid Quality Control program has been in place for a number of years. As a further step, several employees have been trained and certified in Quality Process Control (statistical quality control) through Kent State University. Also, Quality Switch, Inc. is ISO 9001 certified.
